The Manage Budget permission was changed to Manage Financial Details. By default, all cost type fields are disabled, but this change will only apply to OOB and custom costs. However, this change will not affect the OKR and Challenges & Ideas modules. During the last synchronization, the status project mapping failed. For more information, please see the issue notes. A change was made to the Manage Budget permission. The Manage Financial Details permission enables all cost type fields except custom and OOB costs. Additionally, it also grants access to the OKR and Challenges & Ideas modules. The Status Project mapping was not synchronized successfully after the update. The resulting message is: «Missing mapping.» The status project mapping was missing in Azure DevOps. The fix is now available for this issue.

The Changes for Manage Budget and Challenges & Ideas have been made to disable all cost type fields except for Custom and OOB costs. The Changes to the OKR and Challenges & Ideas modules are also related to the Issues & Ideas module. The Manage Financial Details permission was changed to the Manage Project permission. The Manage Financial Details permission enables all cost type fields except for the OOB and custom costs. The Azure DevOps synchronization has been fixed.

The Manage Budget permission was changed to Manage Financial Details. This permission disables all cost type fields. OOB and custom costs are excluded from the Manage Financial Details permission. The Challenges & Ideas module failed to map to the status project. These are some of the problems with the managed budget permission. The change may not be permanent. The user can still edit the existing Status Project, but it must be a Microsoft account. The permission should be reverted.

As of the time of writing, this permission will still be required for the management of a Status Project. If you have an existing budget, it is important to map the status in the org structure.
