The debut album, «Scott Walker,» released in 1967, was a mix of cover songs and his own original compositions. One of his most memorable songs, Montague Terrace (In Blue), is a haunting story of an apartment house filled with shabby characters. The song depicts a bloated, belching man and a forlorn prostitute. The song was inspired by Belgian composer Jacques Brel, whose music Walker first heard in the Playboy Club on Park Lane.

Walker’s debut solo album, Images, offered a glimpse of the kind of music that he was destined to create. The album included a towering track called «Orpheus,» which was written during tough times. The songwriter had a dislike for fame, spending a week at a monastery in 1966. However, he later admitted that he had no interest in becoming famous. It was only after he had a taste for the music that he was inspired to write the song.

Scott Walker’s early solo album, Images, was released in March 1967. The title track of the album, «Orpheus,» a sprawling rock song, was Walker’s first solo album. The song was written during a time when the singer’s fame had become a cause for anxiety. In fact, Walker spent a week in a monastery in 1966, where he grew closer to nature.

Walker’s first solo album, Montague Terrace (in blue), was released in March 1967. «Montague Terrace» is the title track of Walker’s debut solo album, and it features cover songs. On the same album, he wrote the lyrics for a song he’d previously written for The WIRE. Similarly, he wrote the lyrics for «The World» and «Sincereacle» in the same year, and released them as separate tracks on the album. In blue, the album has been a bestseller for both Walker and Brel.

His first solo album, Scott 3, was an instant hit. It featured three Jacques Brel songs, which are among the best known songs of the decade. The song Copenhagen was dedicated to his then-girlfriend, Mette Teglbjaerg. The couple married in 1972, and Walker has been touring ever since. He continues to write and perform music with great intensity and emotion. The following two albums, ‘It’s My Life’s Not a Dream’, «The Heart of the City» and «The City of Lights’, are both excellent examples.
